I cry, You cry, We all cry

Perhaps you won't be quite as moved as I was when I opened this email today. But for those who just need a daily dose of humility, here's a note from a layperson in a Cambodian church that just raised over $1000 to go toward the costs of housing 60 evacuees at the facility where they meet. He thanks the Cambodian church members for what they've done and then adds:

My 18 relatives were killed during the Khmer Rouge included my father and sisters. Jesus sent his believers to help us. Now, we are here in Texas.
When we have the opportunity to help anyone, we should do it. Jesus helps everybody on earth. Trust the Lord in all your heart and do not depend on your own understanding. He will set you free.
