Estoy Hablando en Espanol

Once a week I meet with a dear man and he practices his English while I practice my Spanish. Rather than use a textbook intent on helping us order off a menu, find the restroom, or locate the library, we simply talk. Today our conversations ranged from a punchline in a joke he didn't quite understand, to the connotation and denotation of "flirting," to possible options for leadership development among Hispanic pastors. AND I included a brief recounting of the past decade of denominational life and its possible connection to postmodernism.

Did I mention I was speaking Spanish???? Did I?
