I was asked by a Chinese youth pastor today if there were any ministry opportunities in the city where his youth could work with people rather than organizing clothes closets or food pantries or painting, etc. I listed the ones I knew of and offered a degree of commentary on each. He then asked if I was aware of any opportunities among the homosexual community. I didn't miss a beat and simply said, "With them or to change them?"
"Oh," he said. "I just think it would be cool to hang out with them. We'd not want to change them."
